¿POR QUÉ NOS COMPORTAMOS COMO LO HACEMOS?
Estudios realizados han demostrado que las circunstancias influyen en muestras acciones y que la personalidad resalta relativamente la manera de comportarnos y esto nos caracteriza como individuos.
La gran mayoría de psicólogos están familiarizados con la siguiente pregunta: ¿Por qué las personas hacen lo que hacen?
“Según la teoría de la atribución propuesta por Fritz Heidel (1958), tendemos a atribuir la conducta de los demás a una de dos causas posibles: a algo interno o a algo externo. Esta teoría es considerada una importante estructura teórica para la investigación psicosociológica en estos últimos años.”
Podemos ver entonces que la situación determina la conducta, donde personas que son adorables y amables pueden ser inducidas por la exigencia de una situación a infligir dolorosas y peligrosas descargas a personas extrañas que no le hicieron el menor daño. También ver como la prisa que pueda tener una persona puede afectar su buena voluntad de pararse y ayudar a una persona aparentemente enferma.
Aun, es difícil saber cómo se va a comportar una persona a partir del conocimiento de su personalidad, como también de la situación en que se encuentre. Es de vital importancia recordar que lo que hagamos depende de la interacción entre quienes somos y donde estamos. Incluso sabiendo que es posible una predicción no perfecta, pero es importante buscar la raíz del comportamiento, especialmente por estos tipos de comportamientos como la agresividad y el altruismo; ya que impactan en la sociedad en su conjunto como también individualmente.

It is vital to remember that what we do depends on the interaction between who we are and where we are.
